i used to work for a major phone manufacturer – you want to know where they are headed? remember you read it here first!!!! bio-intergation, chips implanted near your throat and a tiny speaker imbeded in your ear will be what we call a phone in future, not only that tv’s will be a thing of the past, believe it or not we will be watching tv using retinal implants…

Wow, back in the day when people didn’t even see the point of having a cell phone and were against the idea.
Now everyone and their dog has a cell. And instead of needing to carry around a small suitcase to make a call, you can get cell phones that fit on your wrist.
I’ve always wanted a TV watch when I was a kid, now I want a CELL/TV/MP3/CAMERA wrist watch. Technology has gotten so small, and they can even make them smaller now that there is OLCD technology coming out…. Next the BRAIN PHONE!
I just saw a commercial for an early cell phone that came out in 1986.
(it looked pretty much exacly like that one)
Of course the commerical was made in England.
Dammit, my Treo 680 (which is already dated lol) is more powerful than my first computer, and I can watch .avi movies in it.

Yeah, technology is increasing at an exponential rate. In 10-20 years, I wouldn’t be surprised if a top of the line PC of today, could fit in a wrist watch. Then you port the audio and video from your watch to an entertainment system using wireless technology like Bluetooth. That would be awesome! I don’t have an affinity to watches, but they make a good example of small technology that you carry around with you.
That would be awesome! And then now we would have WAY more advanced phone technology
Well they do have internet on cellphones now so thats pretty much the whole computer. the same things you do on the computer you can do on your phone.
