I have bought an additional telephone handset and I have connected buy rx drugs it with my old one. I just wanted to know what the advantages of multiple handsets are and how to use and setup those advantages?
P.S Does it cost? To have additional handsets…If So How Much?

same advantage as having multiple extensions.
The only advantages are that you can have a phone in many rooms, in case you can’t get to one or if you have an emergency you will have a phone close by. But, here are the disadvantages like in my home, my "husband" had phones here before I moved in, they are linked handsets and at first I liked the idea, I could page etc., but now that we are going through a divorce and we are living in separate areas for the past two months, I don’t like the idea that he can go onto the ‘room monitor’ feature and unless I am looking directly at the phone, and can see the light on, he can be listening in on my conversations…as in anyone in that room, or he can also listen in on a phone call if my kids or I forget to hit the privacy button. So, in other words, if you don’t have to worry about your privacy, it’s a great phone system to have in your home, but if you are in a situation like mine, don’t get it. And no, I am not paranoid, this is going on in my home and it is so very wrong.
