Any ideas on how to eliminate static on GE cordless telephone model 25840ge3-a?

once you experience static, nothing you do will fix it…I bought a new battery for 20 dollars…changes stuff around…to no avail….you gotta tosh it out!!! this is the problem with cordless…some just last longer then others…cheer luck…
If they are a year old get new ones.
