Alot of people do miss the point that often conversations are just noise and social interaction, not any sort of “classroom” or research project. Who is “right” at the end of the conversation really doesn’t matter when its over, except maybe to both or one of the participants. Took me a while to pick up on that, but its probably more of an old people phenomena, anyway, lol.
I’m surprised he didn’t call his friends on being Extremely Rude. Using any device that pulls your attention away from the person you are supposed to be having a conversation with is a shitty thing to do.

I’m referring to the American idel of making sex a shameful experience, that any sexuality is implicitly “bad” and “dirty” and “everything”.
The corrupted system of American social sexuality is to use sex as a weapon. It’s about status, it’s about power, if you’re gay, you’re evil for it, if you’re a woman, you’re simultaneously despised AND idolized, and man is portrayed as a bumbling moronic beast.
It’s all bullshit.

A human being does not need to do every disgusting thing in order to fulfill his sexual desires. Sexuality is part of humanity and in the right context, is beautiful and can bring people closer together. Our desires are greatly influenced by the society we live in. However, Just because one can do it doesn’t make it healthy. America will be a better place when people embrace their sexuality in a healthy manner; not in a catholic manner (calling it a sin) and not in an overboard manner.

They lack any sense of tranquility inside so they can’t bear to be alone with thoughts or in direct, deep,fully engrossing conversation and so they use this device to escape any level of depth since they fear or can not tolerate anything deep for too long a while without retreating or marginalizing it with the device since they are not comforatable with themselves. 4. the technology just becomes so routine that they lose the ability to engage fully and just become constant partial taskers.
I’ve had similar experiences, and I’ve thought about why people fact check in this interuptive manner. I’ve come up with 3 possibilities for why a person does this. 1. They get some sort of ego kick from brandishing and adeptly handeling a new piece of technology. This is especially true of people in your age group or teenagers. 2. They are not ccompletely comfortable or are somewhat nervous with the situation and so the fact checking is a means of retreating into themselves for a bit. 3.
America will be a better place when people really embrace their sexuality.
