Forgot Password: How to unlock my cell phone’s handset cu400?

Hi,
I have an LG att cell phone model CU400 with cingular and recently buy online drugs locked the handset to keep my younger son from making phone calls.
Problem is I forgot the passcode to unlock it. I remember my last lg (different model) had a universal code incase you forgot.
Please help I need to use my phone! thx
You’ll probably need to take it into a AT&T store or LG service center, with proof of purchase, so they can unlock it for you. They will probably just reflash the phone, if possible, which will most likely wipe out all of the phone’s data.

I have the same problem, and I have done alot of searching on the net for an answer. Short answer, nothing on the net works, take it in and have it flashed. You’ll lose everything in the phone memory, i.e. wallpaper, ring tones etc., but the numbers on the sim card will be ok.
