A very inexpensive part is made just for this purpose. It is a cord swivel which plugs into the headset and the cord into it. It will NOT let the cord tangle. Radio Shack will have this for around $3 or 4 dollars.
only people that pay for both their cell phone AND their landline have this problem…stick with your cell phone and the handset will miraculously stay untangled…
