How do I get the second handset of my cordless phone to work again?

We got a used cordless phone with 2 handsets from my mother-in-law and when I was playing around, erasing the old info, I hit a button that I shouldn’t have and now it’s saying "not registered" and won’t work (only the one, the Alli Online other still works). Does anyone know how to fix this?
Scan the handset MENU (LCD). Look for handset setting. Then look for REGISTRATION. Select REGISTRATION and the handset will guide you during registration process.
Have you tried putting the second phone(non working) on the first (working phone) charger.. I know thats how i reset mine
