How do you know if a call is long distance?

do you always have to enter the area code? how can you prescription drugs without prescription tell when your making a long distance call?
the area code is different…
usualy its like a 10 miles radius dependingon your srvice thats what it is for my phone anyway or if you have to dial an area code
if it has a different area code. like if you are calling from a 354 area code and you call a 665 area code, then it’s long distance.
What are you-six years old? Have someone explain phone usage to you. Read the phone book. Anytime you dial 1, and an area code, it’s long distance. Within your own area code you may have to dial 1 and the number with no area code.

You usually have to dial a one before the area code.
