can you put a password lock on stuff like texts and media????
You can hold down the “home” button to show the latest used applications. This makes it easier to switch between apps.
@baupautje Yes it does have scenes and profiles which will do what you want.
Does it have profiles? Like weekend or work profiles where the background soundoptions etc are different from one another

hi dave . i realy like the video about the htc desire , but im not surru , about whith phone , to go the xperia x10 , ou the htc desire i got the x10 whit me now but i realy desiponting about not to have a dedicate flash , and photos at nigth you can see that much . coud you plese telme whit one shoud a go tru thanks
@whothefeckisapple Pull on the email. However, the sync of calendars etc is great if you use Google services.
Hi Dave, you have got a great series for Desire coverage.
I’m currently a iPhone user and am looking to get an android phone, with the desire being top on my list. The only question I have about the desire before jumping platform is does it support push (contacts, calendar, mail) for exchange, as it’s a pretty big deal for me. Would greatly appreciate it if I could get an answer.

Dave, can the phone serves as a modem if my phone line is together with data. Can i hook-up to the computer and connect to the web?
dose any one know how u sort the text and ringtone out been into sd card and put the mp3 into media ringtone and notifacation folders ringtone works but text dont any tips or advice as i have been lookin around the net and tryin diffrent set ups on the htc desire but its got me stumped thankz
my battery doesn’t seem to last more than a day. I have down loaded a task master app but it doesn’t seem to make a difference. Any help would be gret as i lov the phone but i have found this dissapointing.
Why is not there any flip clock in HTC DESIRE????

@ardabayer It is glass, very resistant to scratches. I fitted a screen film to mine anyway and it still works fine. All my videos have the screen film in place.

thanks for the video and the answers. my question is about the screen. Do you think screen has a special coating protects from scratches ? or shall we use additional product such as invisible shield? if so How capacitive screens work with such folio on the screen?? cheers
